After honing his craft at Reed College and the American Conservatory Theater, he secured a breakout role on Broadway in 2010’s A View from the Bridge. He is widely recognized for his versatile performances in television, ranging from the ruthless Frank Capone in Boardwalk Empire and a complex intelligence operative in Homeland to his lead role as the industrialist George Russell in HBO’s The Gilded Age. Spector is also known for his work in the historical miniseries The Plot Against America and films such as A Vigilante and Boston Strangler.
