Modesty Blaise is a British comic strip created by Peter O'Donnell and Jim Holdaway, first published in 1963. The strip features the titular character, a highly skilled and resourceful woman with a criminal past, and her loyal sidekick, Willie Garvin. The character has also appeared in novels, been adapted into live action three times in 1966, 1982, and 2003. From 1965 onwards, 11 novels and two short-story collections were written.
