Min Joon-ki, the main character from the 1997 South Korean film “Beat,” is portrayed by Jung Woo-sung. He is a tough and fearless high school dropout known for his brawling skills and loyalty to his friends, especially Tae-soo and Hwan-gyu. Min comes from a troubled background, with a widowed alcoholic mother, which shapes his tough personality.
