Biography

Miles Dread (Sometimes mistaken as Dredd) is one of Max Steel's archnemeses and a major antagonist in Max Steel, also being the main antagonist in the first season. One of Max's most dangerous and powerful enemies, Miles is a power-hungry and treacherous megalomaniac capable of absorbing Max's T.U.R.B.O. Energy to power himself. His armor allows him to create multiple weapons, such as cannons and energy balls, as well providing him with superhuman conditions. Miles is one of N-Tek's co-creators along with Forge Ferrus, Molly McGrath and Jim McGrath. After he realized how powerful the T.U.R.B.O. Energy was, Dread created a siphoning device to harness its power for his own gain. He used it while Jim and Steel were testing the Turbo Star, which led to a massive explosion that nearly killed the duo and embedded the device on his chest. Ever since, Miles requires T.U.R.B.O. energy in order to survive. When the second Max Steel arose, Miles intended to keep him as a prisoner so he could feed off his energy, though his plans were thwarted by N-Tek. He would continously clash with Max Steel and N-Tek, and was allied with the Ultralinks. His efforts would eventually culminate into a full-blown Ultralink invasion, which was stopped by Max and N-Tek. In hopes of overpowering the leader of the Ultralinks, Makino, and put Earth at his mercy, Miles Dread and Jason Naught began their search for the three pieces of the Turbo Star. Him and Max fought multiple times, but Miles came out victorious in the end and managed to get all the pieces. In a risky move, Max and Steel managed to recover the Turbo Star from Miles' hands. After Makino's defeat, Miles revives one of N-Tek's old projects: Morphos, a shapeshifting creature created specifically to destroy Max Steel and N-Tek once and for all. While the monster was initially used by Dread for his own gain, Morphos later on developed his own conscience and goals, plus a deep hatred for Dread. He became a major threat for Earth, forcing Miles to form an uneasy alliance with Max and his rogues to stop Morphos. Ever since Morphos' defeat, Miles hasn't been seen. Miles Dread debuted in Come Together Part One and is voiced by Mark Oliver.
