Michel'le Toussant is a vocalist, songwriter, and R&B artist. She is known for her squeaky, child like speaking voice, which is a startling contrast to her strong vocals. Michel'le was the featured female vocalist on the World Class Wreckin' Crew's 1988 single "Turn Off The Lights".
She was originally signed to Eazy-E's Ruthless Record label that released her self-titled debut album, "Michel'le in 1989. Her debut album which was entirely produced by Dr. Dre, contained the classic "No More Lies" also hit singles "Nicety" and "Something in my Heart". The album Michel'le sold over 1.5 million copies and generated two music videos for the singles from the album. She also toured throughout the United Kingdom in support of the album.
In 1997 Michel'le released her second album titled "Hung Jury" in which she released the hit "Hang Time". In 2003 she appeared on the Dysfunktional Family Soundtrack.
Returning from a hiatus, Michel'le gracefully takes the stage with her powerful vocals. Unforgettable performances at events such as "Chocolate Sunday" at "The Savoy Entertainment Center" in Inglewood, CA left audiences requesting for more. By popular demand, she returned for performances on August 2009 and again on September 2009 with Hip Hop Artist "YoYo". In October 2009 Michel'le performed at "Taste of Soul" in Los Angeles, CA with an audience of over 100,000 people.
December 2009 she performed her new single "Freedom To Love" at The Annual House Full of Toys benefit concert held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Michel'le shared the stage with extraordinary artists such as, Stevie Wonder, The Jonas Brothers, Robin Thicke, and India Arie, just to name a few. On January 2010 she performed at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration for the city of Long Beach, CA and invited back in 2011 performing a special tribute to the late Teena Marie. In February 2010 she began her nation wide tour including cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, Miami, Houston, Las Vegas, St. Louis, Oakland,and Atlanta to name a few.
