Marlo Buchanan is the main antagonist of Barbie: Dolphin Magic. She is a marine biologist/poacher and Ken's boss, who wants to capture the Gemstone Dolphins and exploit them to become rich. However, In Mermaid Power, she redeems herself and is revealed to be doing all of her poaching because she actually has a fascination with magical sea creatures, since her grandmother was actually a mermaid.
