Biography

Mariela Isabel Irala (born December 26, 1988) is an Argentine-American TV Show host, journalist, actress and producer. She starred in Disney Latino and Cris Morena Group’s Jake and Blake among other prime time TV shows in Argentina. She hosted Yahoo HOY! An entertainment news segment for Yahoo! Hispanic Americas for over 6 years. As a press junket reporter, she interviewed the cast of Anchorman 2, Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and Christina Applegate. Matt Damon, Cameron Diaz, Dwayne Johnson, Jamie Foxx , Genesis Rodriguez, and Mark Wahlberg among others. Other notable work include hosting HITN‘s “Tu Planeta” a new programming block designed to encourage species conservation and respect for the environment among young Hispanic audiences including interviews with Ron Magill. Her latest work can be seen in Telemundo Deportes “Fan en Futbol Mode” a digital mini-series about the fandom of Russia’s 2018 Soccer World Cup.
