Mandrake the Magician (1939 Serial)

Based upon the pulp character created by King Features Syndicate, famed stage magician Mandrake (Warren Hull) and his trustworthy assistant Lothar (Al Kikume) quickly find themselves in the middle of a web of terror conducted by a mysterious masked crime boss known as "The Wasp" (???), who is looking to steal a radium energy machine from it's inventor, Professor Houston (Forbes Murray). Working with Houston, his daughter Betty (Doris Weston), and her younger brother Tommy (Rex Downing), Mandrake and Lothar must try and uncover the identity of "The Wasp" and stop him from using the energy machine for evil.
