Luke graduated from the University of Western Sydney and the Actors’ College of Theatre and Television. Luke has worked professionally as an Actor for the past 15 years and has been nominated for both the Greenroom and Helpmann Awards. In 2010 he won the Helpmann for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for Avenue Q. Directorial credits include: In the Heights for Hayes Theatre and Sydney Opera House, for which he received a 2018 Sydney Theatre Award nomination: Best Direction of a Musical, and Songs for a New World for Blue Saint Productions; Back to the 80’s – the Musical for Neil Gooding Productions; Giggle and Hoot and Friends both national tour and for ABC4 Kids; Educating Rita for Seymour Centre; Thank You For Being a Friend for Henderson/Neil Gooding Productions; Les Miserables and Annie for Packemin Productions at Riverside Theatres, Beyond Miserables – the charity concert with the Australian cast of Les Miserables and more recently Bells are Ringing for Neglected Musicals presented by The Hayes Theatre Co.
