Lê Chiến Kim (also Kim Ature[15] and Kim Nguyen[f]) / King Monkey (voiced by Grant George in the English dub[34][35] and Alexandre Nguyen in the French version) is a competitive athletic student in Miss Bustier's class, revealed to a former crush of Marinette's before Chloé talked him in psychologically scarring Marinette with what he thought was a harmless prank. He is best friends with Max, rivals with Alix, and has a love interest named Ondine. Using the Monkey Miraculous, he can transform into "King Monkey" (French: Roi Singe).[g] His weapon is a Ruyi Jingu Bang and his special power "Uproar" lets him create an object to disrupt his opponents' superpowers.
