Kyaw Ye Aung (born May 5, 1966) is a prolific Burmese actor and two-time Myanmar Academy Award winner with a career spanning over three decades. Born Ko Ko Naing in Bogale, he entered the entertainment industry in 1990 and has since appeared in over 300 films. A major breakthrough moment occurred in 1996 when he won his first Myanmar Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in Thar Thame Zanee Kyinyar. He achieved another significant career milestone in 2007, securing his second Best Actor Academy Award for the film Koe Sal Sa Thar Late Mal. Known for his versatility in both dramatic and mainstream cinema, he remains a central figure in the Myanmar motion picture industry and a frequent collaborator with other top-tier regional talent.
