Kite is a supporting character of the Hunter x Hunter series. He first appears as a hunter with Conjuration abilities and the student of Ging Freecss.
Kite seeked to find the whereabouts of his master. During his quest, he would cross paths with Ging's estranged son, Gon, revealing to him that his father was actually alive. Kite's encounter with Gon were crucial to motivate the boy into eventually becoming a Hunter himself, kickstarting his journey to find his father.
