Kirk M. PetruccelliI designed the science fiction coming-of-age film The Space Between Us, starring Gary Oldman and Asa Butterfield, and the science fiction-drama Geostorm, starring Gerard Butler, Ed Harris, and Andy Garcia.  Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kirk attended PennState University,y where he studied film,graphic design,n and illustration, ultimately receiving a degreein film.  He also studied the art of Steadicam operation at the Rockport Film andTelevision Workshop.  He gained his experience in the film business in a variety of production jobs, including camera,set design,n and set decoration.
