Biography

N'Jadaka, legally known as Erik Stevens, was a former United States Navy SEAL and the son of the Wakandan Prince N'Jobu. When N'Jadaka was a child, his uncle T'Chaka killed his father for trying to murder Zuri for outing him after he had aided Ulysses Klaue in stealing vibranium from Wakanda. This drove Killmonger to dedicate his life to forcibly dethrone his cousin, T'Challa, in order to finally accomplish his father's plan to seize control of the world by using all of Wakanda's vibranium technology to cease the oppression of people of African descent all across the world. In order to achieve this, N'Jadaka joined the Navy Seals and was eventually assigned to a black-ops unit, where his numerous confirmed kills earned him the nickname Killmonger. In 2016, following T'Chaka's death, Killmonger allied with Klaue, only to then kill him to gain access into Wakanda. Challenging for his bloodright, Killmonger murdered Zuri and seemingly killed T'Challa during their ritual combat and claimed the throne, becoming Black Panther, ensuring he would be the last of the lineage by burning the ancient Heart-Shaped Herbs. Shortly before Killmonger unleashed his plans, T'Challa returned and challenged Killmonger, eventually defeating and killing him during their final battle, though his death inspired T'Challa to stop isolating Wakanda from the world and provide other nations with their resources. Nine years later, Killmonger communicated with Shuri when she visited the Ancestral Plane, informing her that they were very much alike with their mutual desire for revenge following the murder of a family member. Despite Killmonger's advice that she follow through with her vengeance against Namor, Shuri ultimately managed to evade succumbing to it.
