Kaila Roa is a college student who was born in the Philippines. An honor student coming from an impoverished family, Kaila was offered a college scholarship by Orion after an excellent showing in a yaw-yan tournament, which she ended up taking, not knowing this decision of her would end up causing harm to her loved ones, as her refusal to join Orion's fight data experiments led to her family to be kidnapped by Orion's forces. Upon hearing the news, Kaila finds herself with no other choice but to join the Sentoki tournament to rescue her family.
