Juraj Slafkovský is a Slovakian ice hockey forward and rookie for the Montreal Canadiens. In the 2022 NHL entry draft, the Canadiens selected Slafkovský first overall, making him the highest-drafted Slovak player in NHL history. Born in Kosice, Slovakia, Slafkovský plays right wing and left wing and shoots left-handed. He played for HC Kosice in his youth.
