Junie B. Jones (the B stands for Beatrice, but she doesn't like Beatrice, she just likes B and that's all) is the main character of the series of the same name, written by Barbara Park and illustrated by Denise Brunkus. She is a rambunctious kindergartner (later first-grader) who often gets into trouble due to her outspokenness, sass, energetic behavior, determination, and curiosity.
