Biography

Julie Estelle Gasnier (born January 4, 1989) Or Best Known as Julie Estelle is an Indonesian Actress and Model. Her first leading role in 2005 at the age of 15 was in the drama Alexandria, followed by the horror film Kuntilanak in 2006 (known as The Chanting in English), and two sequels in 2007 and 2008. Julie was born to a French father and Indonesian mother, she gained more fame after starring at Gareth Evans' The Raid movies, through that movies she attended international film festival such as Sundance Film Festival along with her co-star Iko Uwais. During The Raid movie, Julie was trained to do martial arts in order to support her character Hammer Girl, she later portrayed the character again in The Raid 2. Julie Estelle already collaborated with actor Iko Uwais for 3 times, The Raid, The Raid 2, and Headshot (2016) that also starring other talented Indonesian actress such as Chelsea Islan.
