Jonathan Rook is the founder and CEO of Rook Unlimited. Through his incredible genius and scientific inventions, he revolutionized Charter City, turning it into the hi-tech hub it is today. He is later revealed to be the main antagonist of the series, Stretch Monster. Jonathan has slicked-back, short red hair and light green eyes, He tends to have an easy-going smile. Suits. No ties. Stretch Monster He is green and big. Jonathan is rather eccentric and somewhat egotistical. He tries to be both successful and be true to himself, which is sometimes a challenge. He hires Jake, Ricardo and Nathan regardless of knowing they are young. He appeared to use his resources for good causes, like supplying the flex fighters with high tech gear and increasing security. However, Jonathan was really The Stretch Monster, working behind everyone's backs to create an army of Flexarium monsters to take humanity's evolution to the next stage. As such, even after supposedly having a change of heart in Season 2, he still is completely cruel, sadistic, and dangerously manipulative, and will not hesitate to kill, maim, or torture anyone who stands in his way. He is also somewhat misanthropic, and views humanity as weaker beings who do not understand change when given to them, so he deduced that they should evolve by force if necessary. Powers & Abilities Jonathan has enormous brain power and is quick to invent new things like the Flex Fighters advanced goggles and containment cells for super-criminals. As The Stretch Monster Flexarium body: he has powers like Jake's, primarily to stretch and elongate his body to inhuman lengths, etc, but is stronger and has better control than Jake's. He also has superhuman Strength durability, speed, reflexes, capabilities, and dexterity that improve his power despite his bulky frame. Amphibian physiology: in that form can breath underwater. and a difference of Jake and Omni-mass is his body allows him to use his power at full capacity in this Environment Weakness He can't use his powers without turning in his monster form, remaining vulnerable like a normal human. The transformation needs a little time so it can be stopped by knocking him out after end of transforming or with some Sedative. Jonathan Rook parallels main protagonist Jake Armstrong in many ways: - Same powers - Both have beloved mothers who are deceased - Both are good leaders In fact, in the episode "Secret Ninja Party", Stretch Monster and Stretch semi-bond over their shared Flexarium powers. Johnathan Rook seems to be compared to Scar from “The Lion King”, probably because they have the same eye colour and Jonathan Rook’s hair is the same colour as Scar’s fur and same haristyle as Scar's Mane.
