Biography

Jo O'Meara is an English actor and singer. She is best known as a member of S Club 7. She released her first solo album, titled “Relentless “, in 2005”. In 2006, she took part in the BBC reality television singing competition “Just the Two of Us”.The next year, in 2007, she appeared in the fifth series of “Celebrity Big Brother”. Her appearance in the popular reality television show resulted in a record number of complaints denouncing her racist and bullying behaviour. She gave birth to a son named Lenny in May 2008, becoming the first member of S Club 7 to become a parent. In May 2015, she reunited with her band mates for the “Bring it All Back 2015” reunion tour. In 2017, she joined fellow S Club 7 band mates Bradley McIntosh and Tina Barrett to release the charity single “Family” under the group name SC3,, but it failed to chart. She left SC3 To focus on a solo career in August 2020. She released her second solo album, “a With Love”, in August 2021. Prior to the release of “With Love”, she announced through social media her next two projects — a Christmas album, and an album featuring her own versions of some of S Club 7’s greatest hits.
