Biography

Chinese native violinist Jiazhi Wang, has been playing violin since the age of four. Her father was her first teacher. In 2002, Jiazhi began her studies at the music school at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. She received a scholarship for violin studies every semester, and was ranked as the best violinist of her class at the Central Conservatory of Music matriculation auditions in 2008. Jiazhi entered the Bard College Conservatory of Music in 2008, where she is currently studying violin.
