Jeanne is a woman suffering from a quickly advancing malady. She lives in apartment 20. She opens the door for the player when they arrive, hoping that a sane person will be able to fetch her laundry from the ground floor Laundromat while she is incapacitated by her sickness. (Currently, she will not accept her Laundry after obtaining it.) Her transformation will advance to the second stage when the player sets foot on the first floor, and to the final stage when they set foot on the ground floor. In her final stage, she has become the Hydra, a gigantic creature with many independent tentacled heads. Jeanne will beg Sam to stop the other heads, which have been catching people from the other apartments and eating them alive. Before the Visitor's arrival, Jeanne was a biker.
