James Gordon is the police commissioner in Batman Ninja. He appears in illustrations with Harvey Bullock during the end credits. When the Bat-Family returned from Feudal Japan in the past with the villains, Nightwing handed the villains over to a very surprised Gordon before leaving with the rest of Batman's allies. Gordon gains a more active role in the sequel after Gotham was plagued by a time warp caused by Grodd's quake machine.
