Ingrid Kersch is a supporting character in the first season of the supernatural horror series It: Welcome to Derry.
Born circa 1900, she was the daughter of clown Robert "Bob" Gray; together, their stage names were Pennywise and Periwinkle, respectively. Her father mysteriously disappeared in 1908; unbeknownst to Ingrid, he was killed and devoured by an interdimensional entity (It), which took his form to lure young victims in.
In 1935, Ingrid would see this entity in Pennywise's form killing a little girl. Desperate to see who she thought was her father, it is implied that Ingrid would aid in luring innocent children for the entity to eat. By 1963, Ingrid - now in an abusive marriage - eventually would finally understand that the entity was not actually her father. The entity showed her the Deadlights - the closest human comprehension to its true form - which drove her crazier than she already was.
After decades in Juniper Hill Asylum, the now elderly Ingrid encountered young Beverly Marsh in 1988, disturbing Beverly shortly after her mother's suicide. Ingrid presumably died at some point around or after this time. In 2016, the entity would take Ingrid's elderly form to scare an adult Beverly.
