There are many people who always find Hypocrites to be really infuriating, especially a Straw Hypocrite for how when they don't practice what they believe to be actually insulting. This is when people call them out for it when they lie about being two-faced.
Frequently, they will be found out, be it in an Engineered Public Confession or through investigation. The Hero may use this to either expose them as a fraud or discredit them before their followers. If the villain does this it's more likely Even Evil Has Standards for how some villains are disgusted by hypocrisy.
This is where terms like "The pot calling the kettle black" or "practice what you preach" happen.
Compare Hypocrisy Nod, At Least I Admit It for when the person acknowledges their own hypocrisy. This could be a part of "The Reason You Suck" Speech directed to someone. If this leads to a physical fight, then it's Fisticuff-Provoking Comment.
This trope doesn't apply if the person being called a hypocrite, is not a hypocrite and it's just a misunderstanding or different ideological beliefs.
