Humble Pie are an English rock band formed by former Small Faces vocalist and guitarist Steve Marriott and former Herd vocalist and guitarist Peter Frampton in Moreton, Essex, in 1969. The original line-up was completed by former Spooky Tooth bassist Greg Ridley and former Apostolic Intervention drummer Jerry Shirley. They are known as one of the first supergroups of the late 1960s and enjoyed success in the early 1970s with songs such as "Black Coffee", "30 Days in the Hole", "I Don't Need No Doctor", "Hot 'n' Nasty" and "Natural Born Bugie".
