Horace (The Monster Squad)

Horace, played by Brent Chalem, is a fictional character featured in the 1987 film The Monster Squad. Horace is friends with Sean Crenshaw, Patrick Rhodes, and Eugene. Together, they are in a club they refer to as "The Monster Squad". After being bullied by E. J., who calls Horace "Fat Kid", Rudy comes to his defense and is welcomed into The Monster Squad. When it's discovered that Count Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, the Wolf Man, the Mummy, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon are all real, the group takes responsibility to stop them from taking over the world. Horace managed to stop an attack by Count Dracula by burning him with a pizza slice with garlic on it. During the final confrontation in town square, E. J. is shown to be a coward, refusing to open the door for Horace when the Creature comes out of the sewer. Horace shoots the Creature with a shotgun, killing it. In response E. J. says, "way to go, Fat Kid!" Horace corrects him by saying "May name is Horace."
