His debut was in the third installment of the series, Soulcalibur II, and he subsequently appeared in Soulcalibur III, Soulcalibur IV and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny. He is a spunky and young warrior with a fighting style inspired by Hwang Seong-gyeong, his predecessor and the previous Chinese Sword wielder in the series. He is nicknamed The Patriot of The Flashing Leg. What lies in his soul is Pride.
