Harriet is a woman who may appear as a random door encounter, searching for her missing daughter, Sophie. The two live in Apartment 22. Harriet had left to get food, but found Sophie gone when she returned. She is checking the other apartments, as she had instructed Sophie to find a neighbor to stay with should they become separated. Sophie can show up as a door encounter after meeting Harriet. She can be returned to Harriet if she is present when Harriet arrives a second time. Harriet has a chance of having been corrupted by the Visitor when she comes to your door. In this state, if the door is opened, she will lift her dress to reveal dozens of legs, and attack. The mutant Harriet can be distinguished from the human before opening the door by her unusually calm demeanor, and after opening the door by her hidden face and robe that extends all the way to the ground. After returning Sophie to the human Harriet, she will give Sam several healing items, and invite him to come by their apartment on the second floor. Sam can knock on the door to 22, but will never receive an answer.
