Biography

Hamato Yoshi (浜渡善/はまとよし) is a Japanese martial arts master in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise who is somewhat related to Splinter. In some incarnations, he is Splinter's owner until he is killed by the Shredder, while in other incarnations, he is the human form of Splinter before he is either mutated or reincarnated after his death. He is the love interest (in some versions also husband) of Tang Shen.
