Hala Abusham soared to global social media fame with her humorous clips on her TikTok account, holla4adolla4. Her content mostly revolves around dating, relationships, friendships, and her experience of being raised in a Middle Eastern household. Through her comedic posts, she tries to highlight the stereotypical aspects associated with Middle Eastern families. In April 2020, long before she became a social media sensation, Hala began posting regularly on TikTok. Her debut post on TikTok was a comedy clip on how to make caramel apples. Over the years, she has garnered millions of views and followers on TikTok. She has also gone live on many occasions. A November 2022 video posted by her on TikTok, which was part of the POV: Dating a Middle Eastern Girl series, fetched her over 7 million views on the platform. Another one posted in the same month got her more than 12 million views. Many of her clips are set to tracks by famous music artists, such as 2 Chainz, Saweetie, and Mozzy. Her Instagram account, halaa.aabu, has fetched her thousands of followers. She often posts snippets from her life and her travel adventures on the platform. She has also raised money for a LaunchGood charitable campaign in support of Palestine.
