Gruntilda "Grunty" Winkybunion is a character and the main antagonist of Rare's Banjo-Kazooie series. She is a wicked witch with magical spells that are capable of doing anything, even going as far as death. She also enjoys speaking in rhymes, which really annoys her three sisters Brentilda, Mingella, and Blobbelda somehow. In the first game Banjo-Kazooie, Gruntilda kidnaps Banjo's sister, Tooty and plans to steal her beauty so she can become the most beautiful woman in all of Spiral Mountain until Banjo and Kazooie come to Tooty's rescue and later do battle with Gruntilda at the top of her lair. In the sequel Banjo-Tooie, Gruntilda returns as a living corpse rescued by her sisters Mingella and Blobbelda who have built a doomsday machine called the Big-O-Blaster (or B.O.B.) to restore her to life and plans her revenge against Banjo and Kazooie.
