Dr. Gracie Rose Boswell is a fictional character created by MisterWolf and the main protagonist of Wolf's MyCast.IO semi-biographical disaster trilogy the Chronicles of Gracie Boswell. A world-renowned biologist and adventurer, Boswell is a kindly woman who has defied the odds of not surviving natural disasters and she studies numerous ancient islands caused by gravity pull. Her older brother was another biologist named Calvin Boswell, who died in the 1879 Mount Etna eruption while investigating the volcano itself. During the events of the first installment, Krakatoa, Boswell was approached by two soldiers sent by president Chester A. Arthur, who asked her to investigate the Krakatoa Islands about why they are making so much noise, and she reluctantly agreed after being convinced by her younger sister Rebecca. During her investigation of the islands, Boswell deduced that the titular volcano was the reason behind the noise, and recorded the sound on paper, and eventually escaped with real-life geologist Rogier Verbeek after killing Indonesian animist Ahmad Kusuma when he tried to stop them from leaving. Her next appearance will be in the second installment of the trilogy, intended to cover the events of the 1886 Mount Tarawera eruption in New Zealand. She is portrayed by Anne Hathaway, while Emma Stone portrays a younger version.
