Godou Kusanagi (草薙 護堂, Kusanagi Godō) is the male protagonist of Campione!. Upon his encounter and defeat of the Persian Heretic God Verethragna, he became the 7th Campione, or godslayer.
Despite being the youngest in his world, he soon became one of the most powerful and feared among the gods and other supernatural entities since he slew a god of fate of his universe gaining the ability to manipulate and oppose fate to some extent.
Not only that, he attached to himself (though temporarily) the fate of the king of the end of his universe (the fate of devil king extermination), gaining the ability to travel to other parallel worlds as such he became a very peculiar existence even among his kin.
In Campione Lord of Realms, he is hinted to be the primary cause of the mayhem happening across the multiverse because his anti-fate authority is interfering with the world corrective force. He has also hinted that he can use the Divine Sword of Salvation by using his anti-fate authority making him a very unpredictable and powerful individual in a gathering of outstanding figures who managed to slay gods.
