Gary Lucas is a British actor who played the role of Fireman Sam in Fireman Sam in Action. He also has made one off appearances in EastEnders and Coronation Street. He is the Recipient of a Gold Diploma from the Ernie Newbold School of Speech and Tap in Eccleshall. Since starting his career he has supported some of the finest actors in the land most notably Howard Crossley in Can't pay? Won't pay! He has nearly worked for the Royal National Theatre and the R.S.C. Has seldom worked on TV and has never appeared in films or commercials. The highlight of his career came when he played, and lost, the Duke of Burgundy in the Frinton-on-Sea Repertory Company's production of King Lear, but this could be topped by winning the 1991 Derby Evening Telegraph Best Character Award for Sprules the butler, in Tour of Money.
