Folken Fanel (フォルケン・ファーネル Foruken Fāneru), also referred to as Strategos, is one of the main villains of The Vision of Escaflowne and Escaflowne. He is the chief strategist of the Zaibach Empire and the estranged older brother of Van Fanel.
