Flat Eric
Flat Eric is a fictional character, a yellow puppet, who gained fame from a series of Levi's commercials in the UK. He was created by Quentin Dupieux and built by Jim Henson's Creature Shop. The commercials, directed by Dupieux, featured Flat Eric and his human sidekick, Angel, in a series of humorous and nonsensical scenarios. The character's name came from an original idea for a commercial that involved having a car run over his head and flatten him, but the idea was never used, and the name stuck.
