Etsuya Eizan (叡えい山ざん 枝え津つ也や, Eizan Etsuya?) is a 91st Generation student Tōtsuki Academy Alumnus, the previous Eighth Seat of the Elite Ten Council, and formerly serves as one of the Senior Officers of Central.
Originally introduced as the Ninth Seat, he helped in ousting Senzaemon Nakiri in favor of Azami Nakiri for the position of Tōtsuki Culinary Academy Director, thus being promoted two seats higher. He serves as a minor antagonist for the Totsuki First Years storyline and later on, one of the major antagonists of the series for the Central storyline.
At the end of Regimental Shokugeki, Etsuya lost his seat. In his third year, however, he managed to re-enter the Elite Ten Council in which he received his current rank.
