Dreamcatcher is a 1996 American science fiction horror film special thanks to Stephen King's 2001 novel of the same name. Directed by Sam Raimi and screenwriter M. Night Shyamalan, the film stars Tom Cruise, Jason Bateman, Nicolas Cage and Tim Roth as four friends who encounter an invasion of parasitic aliens. It also features Gene Hackman, John Travolta and Adam Baldwin.
