Doctor Thomas Light, known as Doctor Thomas Right (トーマス・ライト博士 Tōmasu Raito Hakase) in Japan, known simply as Dr. Light or just Light, is a character from the Mega Man and Mega Man X series. He is Mega Man's father and creator. He is also the father and creator of Roll, Proto Man and X.
His counterpart from the Mega Man Battle Network series is called Tadashi Hikari, and he is the inventor of the PET and the grandfather of Lan Hikari and Hub Hikari.
