Dr. François Duvalier

François Duvalier (14 April 1907 – 21 April 1971) is a Haitian voodooist, dictator and main antagonist. Duvalier's early life suffers under the American occupation is implied, like many Haitians, he came into contact with the voodoo religion at an early age. Eventually, Papa Doc turned to the dark side, using all his knowledge of voodoo magic for malevolent and selfish purposes, becoming a dreaded bokor, a sorcerer and a dictator with the ability to create zombies and talismans to house spirits, and dedicating bloody human sacrifices to the spirits to obtain their purposes. In time, these actions would pay off, as he rose through the ranks of power in Haiti, eventually becoming President at the National Palace in Port-au-Prince where he won the election on 22 September and was inaugurated on 22 October 1957. Once in power when he took office, he took advantage of his position to perpetrate further sacrifices and entrench his power, using political dissidents and other opponents of the regime as sacrificial subjects. Papa Doc won the constitutional referendum and became President for Life of Haiti on 21 June 1964 when he changed the flag and coat of arms from blue and red to black and red, with the black shared the same ties to Africa which remains until his son Jean-Claude Duvalier or Baby Doc was overthrown on 7 February 1986 and restored an original blue and red horizontal color. Papa Doc became an extraordinary powerful demon that manifests to mock the faith of his enemies as one of his purpose is to become the Lord of the Dead or Baron Samedi. His Tonton Macoute paramilitary police moves from province to province, first becoming the undertaker of that town and secretly removing the corpses from the graveyards and mortuaries. However, he is not content to just steal the already dead, but will soon kill the island's living population to add their numbers to his collection. The creatures he creates from the bodies of the dead serve him in our Haiti, and he also transports them back to his own dimension. It is possible that he uses them as slave labor for his own island nation, the same way he uses his two legion of other undead minions called the Gravers, the Demon Troopers or the Macoutes. Duvalier is an evil entity who seems to desire to conquer all of existence. He kills many people and uses their bodies as well as a feared voodoo sorcerer, who uses his knowledge of the Dark Arts to further his reign of terror to expand his ever growing army seemingly in the hopes of conquering Haiti he ruled from 1957 to his death on 21 April 1971, when his son Baby Doc took over until he fled to France in February 1986.
