Doctor Nefarious

Doctor Nefarious is a character from the Ratchet and Clank series. He is the robotic arch-nemesis of Captain Qwark, and later, Ratchet and Clank. He is almost never seen without his robotic butler, Lawrence. Doctor Nefarious was originally a human who was bullied by Captain Qwark during their high school days, and later he tried to kill him by unleashing his mutant Amoeboids on him, but Qwark managed to trace him down the an abandoned robot factory. After recognizing Nefarious from his high school days, he decided to give him a wedgie for "old times sake", but accidentally pushed Nefarious off the catwalk and down into the machinery below. Nefarious survived, but as a result, was turned into a robot. This sparked Nefarious' deep hatred for organic lifeforms (which he refers to as "squishies"), and was turned insane after that. Nefarious tried to get his revenge years later, but was stopped by Ratchet and Clank. Doctor Nefarious is a rather comedic villain with a very short temper. He is so much in love with himself, that he makes all his mobiles modeled after him While Lawrence is soft and quiet, Nefarious is very loud, and easily aggravated. A running gag in the series is that when Nefarious gets over-the-top angry, he freezes and picks up a radio frequency for the soap opera "Lance and Janice", until Lawrence or someone else slaps him in the back of the head.
