Denis Cyplenkov (Денис Иванович Цыпленков) March 10, 1982 in Krivoi Rog (Ukraine), is a professional competitive arm wrestling athlete. He started strength sports since 1993 with kettelbell1. He took up sport arm-wrestling in 1996 at the age of 14. From 2008 onwards, he will concentrate exclusively on professional competitions. His fame extends beyond the boundaries of sport, not least because of his physique. Measuring 1.86 metres, he weighed 140 kg1 at his best, with an arm circumference of 64 cm and a wrist circumference of 24 cm1But the most striking thing about him are his enormous hands with their thick fingers. In a popular video, he is seen cracking nuts2 with disconcerting ease. In 2018, he was due to meet Andrey Pushkar as right-hand man for Pal #50. Pushkar died in a car accident in Ukraine on the way to the airport. The tournament was held in his honor, and Cyplenkov presented the champion's belt to the deceased's family3. In March 2019, when he was due to take part in the first edition of the Top 8, Cyplenkov had to be hospitalized due to kidney problems. His iron career has been on hold ever since. He resumed training in 2020 and is due to meet Levan Saginashvili in left arm at the end of the year.
