Biography

Dan Cohen is an American director, producer, journalist and filmmaker based in Washington, D.C. He is the host of Behind the Headlines. Formerly of RT America, Cohen has contributed to Al Jazeera English, Alternet, Electronic Intifada, The Grayzone, Middle East Eye, Mondoweiss, The Nation, and Vice News. He is an executive producer of Stranger Things for which he won a Producers Guild Award, and also serves as Executive Vice President of Shawn Levy's production company 21 Laps Entertainment. He was also the producer of a number of films, including the Arrival & The Darkest Minds.
