Daddy Topps

Daddy Topps is a fictional character from from The Land Before Time franchise first introduced in the first film and plays a major supporting role throughout the series. He is Cera's father, otherwise known as Mr. Threehorn, which he is called by other residents of the Great Valley and also called Topsy by his mate (and Cera's stepmother), Tria. Daddy Topps is shown to be pompous, self-righteous, and bigoted when first introduced, highlighted by his xenophobia of other species of herbivorous dinosaurs, especially towards Longnecks by proving his point when he growls at Littlefoot saying, "Threehorns never play with Longnecks." He is very overprotective of his daughter to the point of wrongfully calling Littlefoot a "bad influence," especially towards his grandparents' faces, and never apologizing for his accusations based on the degree of his pride and perverse stubbornness, which is attributed to his own father teaching him to "stand and fight, don't run away." However, Daddy Topps's prejudice and bad attitude have both gradually lessened over time while still being stern. He has also been shown to be part of the Great Valley's leadership where she shares power with Littlefoot's grandparents.
