Biography

Clayton Grimm plays Blippi, the fun, energetic character known for his signature blue and orange outfit and his entertaining and educational videos. He helps teach kids colors, letters and so much more! You can watch Clayton as Blippi on YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime. You may have also seen him live as Blippi on tour in Blippi the Musical or listen to his Blippi music on Spotify. Blippi was created by Stevin John in 2014 when he saw a lack of quality kids content on new media platforms such as YouTube. Stevin originally hired Clayton in 2019 to play Blippi in the live show Blippi the Musical and again in 2020 to make Blippi Videos and digital content together. Previously he has appeared internationally as The Flash in the theatrical tour of DC's Justice League. Other New York credits include: St. Vincent's Project at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, The Mile Long Opera, Gross Indecency, The Winter's Tale, The Merchant of Venice, and Crazy for You. He is a proud alumnus of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
