Carl Kolchak is a fictional investigative reporter known for his work on bizarre and supernatural cases in the 1974-1975 TV series "Kolchak: The Night Stalker", as well as the two TV movies preceding it. He works for the Independent News Service (INS) and his investigations often involve supernatural creatures and paranormal phenomena. Despite his efforts to report these stories, he is frequently dismissed or discredited by his editor, Tony Vincenzo, and others, often due to the lack of concrete evidence or the sensational nature of his findings.
