Bron

Bron is a fictional character from The Land Before Time franchise first introduced in the tenth film and plays a minor, but supportive role throughout the series. He is Littlefoot's father, the mate (and widow) of Littlefoot's mother, the son-in-law to Grandma and Grandpa Longneck, and adopted father of Shorty. Bron has been absent for most of Littlefoot's life and before his birth. This is because he left his mate and in-laws in hopes of finding a new and better home for his family so that when Littlefoot hatched, he wouldn't grow up in famine or in danger from Sharpteeth roaming the region. When Littlefoot first met Bron and learned that he is his father, he was angry and resentful of him at first, until Bron insisted on explaining his absence, telling Littlefoot his reasons and that he has been searching and searching for him ever since the Great Earthshake all the while becoming the leader of a herd of longnecks along the way while searching for him, which Littlefoot forgave him for and grew to admire his father for being a leader of a herd of longnecks.
