Blood & Treasure (TV Series, 2019-2022)

Blood & Treasure is an American action adventure television series created by Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia that premiered on May 21, 2019 on CBS. The second season premiered on Paramount+ on July 17, 2022. Blood & Treasure is a 2019 Action-Adventure drama series, which is basically a combination of James Bond and Indiana Jones-type adventure. Blood & Treasure centers on "a brilliant antiquities expert and a cunning art thief who team up to catch a ruthless terrorist who funds his attacks through stolen treasure. As they crisscross the globe hunting their target, they unexpectedly find themselves in the center of a 2,000-year-old battle for the cradle of civilization. The series follows Danny McNamara (Matt Barr), a former FBI agent turned antiquities expert, and Lexi Vaziri (Sofia Pernas), a professional thief and con-woman as they circle across the globe, securing ancient treasure before Karim Farouk (Oded Fehr), a seemingly-deceased terrorist use it to create a weapon of mass-destruction. It stars: Matt Barr as Danny McNamara, a former FBI agent who now works as a lawyer specializing in repatriating stolen art; and Sofia Pernas as Lexi Vaziri, a master thief and con woman partnered with Danny despite their tortured past. As well as James Callis as Simon Hardwick; Michael James Shaw as Aiden Shaw; Mark Gagliardi as Father Chuck Donnelly; Katia Winter as Gwen Karlsson; Oded Fehr as Karim Farouk; and Michelle Lee as Violet.
