Bernard John Taupin CBE (born 22 May 1950)[1] is an English-American songwriter, singer and visual artist. He is best known for his long-term collaboration with musician Elton John, a songwriting partnership that is one of the most successful in history. Taupin has written the lyrics for most of John's songs.[2]
